Work Groups
Organize work log entries by job. Group everything for a specific project under one name, track total hours, filter by person or date range, and mark groups complete when the job is done. One group can span multiple customers.
Multi-Contact Management & Multi-Recipient Invoicing
Store multiple contacts per customer (office manager, billing contact, site supervisor). When sending invoices or estimates, pick one or several recipients from a dropdown — each gets their own email. Communication log tracks which contact you spoke with.
SMS Security (Step-Up MFA)
Financial sections (Books, Bank Reconciliation, Admin Dashboard) are now protected with SMS-based verification. When accessing sensitive data, WrkOrdr texts a one-time code to your phone. Verified once per session — daily work isn't affected.
Estimates & Invoices Redesigned
Both pages rebuilt with a modern card layout and tab-based organization.
- Estimates: 5 tabs (Drafts / Pending / Sent / Approved / Declined) with new draft-first workflow
- Invoices: 4 tabs (Drafts / Pending / Sent / Paid) with card layout — no more horizontal scroll
- Shared filter bar (search, client, sort) across all tabs
- Status-dependent "More" menu with actions like Mark Approved, Convert to Invoice, Duplicate
Smarter Invoice Generation from Work Log
- Hours combined per person — multiple entries collapse into one line item
- Job description auto-fills from work notes (date, description, time range, duration per entry)
- Equipment operator billing — assign a person to a machine and their labor is billed at the equipment rate instead of double-billing
