Our Promise

WrkOrdr will never hold your data hostage. You can export everything you've ever entered and permanently delete your account at any time — directly from the app, without contacting support or waiting for approval.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app. No emails, no support tickets, no waiting period.

Export your data first (recommended)

Go to Help & Settings and use the Export button to download a backup of all your data (clients, invoices, time entries, receipts, work logs). This is optional but recommended — once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Open Account Settings

In the app, tap the menu → Help & Settings → scroll to the bottom of the page.

Clear Data or Delete Account

You have two options:

Clear All Data — removes all business data (clients, invoices, time entries, receipts, scheduled work) but keeps your account active. Type CLEAR to confirm.
Delete My Account — permanently removes your account, all business data, and your user profile from our servers. Type DELETE to confirm. Requires a recent data export within 24 hours.

Confirmation

After confirming, your data is permanently deleted from our servers immediately. There is no recovery period and no backup copies are retained.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Your user profile (name, email, phone, preferences)
All client/customer records
All invoices and payment records
All time entries and work logs
All receipts and material records
All scheduled work and calendar entries
All uploaded photos and documents
Your company record and settings
Employee associations and permissions
Subscription and billing information (Stripe records remain with Stripe per their retention policy)

This action is permanent and irreversible. We strongly recommend exporting your data before deleting your account. WrkOrdr does not retain backup copies of deleted accounts.

Data Export Before Deletion

Before deleting, you can export all your data in standard formats:

CSV — clients, invoices, time entries, receipts, payroll
PDF — invoices, weekly reports, payroll reports
XLSX — full work log export with all fields

Go to Help & Settings → Export or use the export buttons on individual pages (Invoices, Work Log, Payroll, Weekly Report).

Your data is 100% yours. Export it, take it to another platform, no questions asked.

Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you're unable to access the app or prefer to have us handle it, you can request account deletion by email:

Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 48 hours and confirm deletion by email.
